Where Luxury Meets Exotic

When a design is good, it moves us. We sense it and feel happy.

That's the simplest way to describe what LUXOTIC® is trying to do - and has been trying to do since a small studio in Sydney first asked why it's so hard to find bedding that feels genuinely artistic. Not tasteful-in-a-safe-way. Not coordinated-with-everything. But actually artistic - the kind of work you'd stop in front of on a gallery wall.

The answer was to make it ourselves. Watercolours and acrylics, hand-painted in Sydney, then transferred onto fabric using digital printing with the fidelity to hold over 800 colours in a single pattern. Oversized florals. Bold botanicals. Colour that is vibrant and entirely unapologetic.

And because the designs are printed rather than woven, the fabric stays lightweight and breathable - so the bedroom that looks extraordinary to walk into also feels extraordinary to sleep in. Luxurious and exotic. That's where the name comes from.

An Australian Story Since 2014

LUXOTIC® launched in 2014 in its own boutique on Oxford Street in Paddington - and simultaneously opened an online store so customers across Australia could find it from day one.

Design-conscious customers who had spent years settling for safe and muted found something that finally matched the way they actually wanted to live, and they came back for a second colourway, for a different room, and brought friends with them.

Paris. Frankfurt. The World.

By 2016 the studio was ready to test the rest of the world. Salon Maison & Objet in Paris was the first stop, followed by Heimtextil in Frankfurt - the world's largest trade fair for home textiles, with nearly 3,000 exhibitors. LUXOTIC® was one of only a handful chosen for profile coverage in Heimtextil's own official blog in 2018.

That same year, internationally renowned Dutch trend forecaster Milou Ket - whose trend books shape design direction at companies like IKEA and Swarovski - photographed the LUXOTIC® stand as one of her standout impressions of the entire fair. Retailers across the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA started to take notice.

At Home in Australia

In early 2020, international travel stopped and the global relationships LUXOTIC® had spent four years building went on hold. The studio turned its full attention to Australia and New Zealand - which turned out to reflect something significant happening in the market.

Australians were paying close attention to the rooms they were living in, the bedroom in particular. Sales surged, and in 2021 LUXOTIC® formed an exclusive retail partnership with Harvey Norman across every store in Australia and New Zealand.

Rooted in the Same Soul

In 2025, LUXOTIC® was acquired by Juslink - the 35-year-old Sydney home textile company behind The Honest Label, and a believer and investor in the brand since 2017.

The acquisition brings together the soul and design identity LUXOTIC® built over a decade with the operational depth and reach to carry it into many more homes. The artistic roots are unchanged. The platform to grow them just got stronger.
